I was offered a counseling position in Sheridan, Wyoming today. I am very excited about it. The CMH (community mental health) system is moving toward a more family systems approach, which is an area I am strong in. I will be able to work with children and families, both individually and as a unit. I will be moving in about a week and will be starting in about 2 weeks.
Technically, we are still homeless, as we do not have a home to move into yet. But I have an area to look for residence. So, that's an improvement.
I am excited about the job opportunity and the valuable experience I will gain there, including my LPC licensure. It should be a fantastic move!
Well, as I go almost no sleep last night due to insomnia (worry/perseverating thoughts of today's interview and results), I am going to take some meds (legal ones) and go to bed now.
Nightie night, blogging world!!!

Congratulations!
Yes, congratulations.
Having said that, I must tell you that my wife and I, after parenting about thirty kids, have almost no confidence in the ideas we learned in our respective graduate schools of psychology and social work.
